HSR is now online only.

Starting in 2024, Health Services Research will be published online only. Our final print issue will be December 2023.

This decision was made by the HSR editorial staff and Health Research and Education Trust, which owns HSR. Factors in the decision included costs, efficiencies, and the growth in digital access by academic libraries and HSR readers.

We value our subscribers and want to ensure their uninterrupted access to HSR, which shouldn't change for anyone already reading HSR online. For others, below are links to videos that explain creating an account with Wiley, which publishes HSR. With a Wiley Online Library account, some readers can access HSR if their university or research institute has a subscription.

Individual subscribers should have received an email from Wiley, at the time they started their subscription, about accessing HSR online. For help accessing an individual subscription, email cs-journals@wiley.com.
